Little Elm is a fast-growing city in Denton County on the shores of Lake Lewisville. Most of the housing stock is from the 2000s through the present, with large master-planned communities making up the majority of the city. Even newer homes here sit on the same expansive clay soil that causes plumbing issues across DFW.
Because Little Elm has grown so quickly, some areas have experienced inconsistent municipal water pressure during peak periods. Pressure-related calls — faucet failures, water heater valve issues, and PRV failures — are more frequent in high-growth areas like Little Elm than in established suburbs.
